CHAPTER 1: FATED MEETING BETWEEN TWO OPPOSITES

"I'm Zen, My life was the same, I listen to rock music, I live alone but the truth is I came from a rich bloodline, my father is just giving me funds, I live in one of our mansions, headed by me and me alone, I wanted my life to change, but, it changed immediately, a guy named Slate became my liaison, I became interested since he came into my life…ever since that time that we met, it was on a morning…"

As Zen was hurrying up to go to school, an "unknown thing" bumped her, "hey watch where you're---"Zen got interrupted as the guy just helped her up, "let's talk on the way miss" the guy said, Zen felt nothing as she considered herself as an emo, but, deep inside she really got pumped up, "hey miss sorry for bumping you…it's just I was hurrying up to go to school, oh, by the way my name is Slate, and you are?" Slate asked, "I'm Zen" she answered, Zen quickly noticed that he was a prodigy on skate boarding, with this, its her first time to ride one…

They now arrived at school, she went on ahead to go to her classroom, she noticed, beside the door was a list of students, there, she saw the name "Slate", which means, she went to school together with her own classmate, this got her think a lot more, later on, the bell rang, everyone assembled inside their classrooms, the adviser quickly appointed their seats, luckily, Zen was at the back, she felt happy because it's her favourite place, later on, Slate said that he was far-sighted, so he transferred his seat behind the room, he noticed Zen, and smiled at her, but, instead she ignored him…

"hey, is it okay? For being your seatmate?" Slate asked, Zen didn't answer, later on, Zen stood up, Slate noticed that she was wearing an earphone, "hey what's that you're listening to?" Slate said, he quickly stood up and held the other pair of the earphone, seconds later, Slate got interested, "so…we have something in common" Slate said, "AND WHAT'S THAT?" Zen furiously answered, "ROCK!" Slate said, Zen felt something about Slate that other men didn't had, following this, she slightly smiled…

After long hours of lectures, their favourite subject came, lunch break, Zen moves like the wind, she went to her favourite spot in the school, the rooftop, there, she spent her time listening to rock music, she lied down and slept for a minute, after, she heard the door creak, and to her extent it was just Slate, the wind was blowing up real hard, Slate noticed a mark on Zen's left arm, he quickly approached it and asked, "hey, why do you have markings on your hand?" Slate said, Zen quickly withdrew her arm and just lied down again, "I'm an emo, don't you SEE?" mumbled Zen angrily, Slate crept closer and said, "from the start I knew it all along, its okay, hey Zen, can you be mine?", Zen sat down, and cried, Slate then hugged her, "I'll change you…" Slate said, Zen suddenly remembered the same event when she was little, Zen quickly withdrew and said, "p-please d---", Zen just left, leaving Slate alone, Slate noticed that her phone was lying were she lied…

After lunch, lectures ruled in, Slate was just looking at Zen, but she didn't mind him, Slate's mind was full of some memories, after the lectures, Slate immediately caught up with Zen, "Zen! This is yours right?..." Slate said, handing over her phone, "SLATE~!" girly voice said, the girl quickly looked at Zen, but didn't mind, "hey Slate…are you two timing me? Give me a kiss will ya~?" girl said, "arrgghh! Not now Wendy!" Slate said, but still, Wendy insisted, after Wendy kissed Slate, Zen left…

Zen went home crying, and opened her phone, she knows that the only thing that would make her happy is her music, she noticed an unknown number messaged her saying, "sorry for today…", she replied, "I don't know who you are please stop it! I hate those kind of men", "ok I'm sorry, let's have a bet, if I break up with Wendy tomorrow, you and I will have a date, and if I can't, I'll stop bothering you…okay?", Slate replied, "who cares?" Zen replied, "okay then it's settled" Slate replied, Zen felt the anger in her blood, she doesn't want to be tested…

Next day, she saw Slate on the school gate, "here! Look at this, I broke up with her just last night! You owe me a d---" Slate said but then got interrupted by Zen, "stop it…" she said, she left Slate hanging, but still, with Slate's persistent he still followed her…
